Kaum lümmeln Martin und ich auf der Couch rum, kommt erst mal Baghira der es sich direkt auf/neben mir gemütlich macht.

Nun kommt auch Shanti und genießt ihre Streicheleinheiten. Anfangs immer noch Skepsis, diese verfliegt aber immer schneller.

Und bei jeder Gelegenheit wird sich geputzt.

Entstanden ist es am zweiten Tag bei uns.

Eben komme ich von der Arbeit, und wundere mich beim Betreten der Wohnung
warum es so extrem nach Baldrian roch.
Dann sah ich meinen Freund in der Küche stehen, das Schrägfenster geöffnet, einen Stuhl darunter, und eine geöffnete Futterdose.
Ich habe ihn gefragt warum das so merkwürdig in der Wohnung riecht.
Er sagte das sei Baldrian um den Kater zu locken.
Das verwirrte mich ein wenig. Kater locken? Offenes Fenster? Ein geöffnetes Schälchen Futter?
Martin sagte dann dass Baghira durch das Küchenfenster (besagtes Schrägfenster) abgehauen ist, und nun auf dem Dach rumspaziert.
So ca. eine Stunde lang (mir wird jetzt noch schlecht wenn ich daran denke).

Martin hat versucht ihn zu locken, aber das hat den Kleinen nicht die Bohne interessiert.
Baghira ist mehrmals in die Nähe vom Fenster, aber wieder reingesprungen ist er nicht.

Ich bin dann ans offene Fenster gegangen und habe ihn gerufen.

Er kam auch erst, aber er ließ nicht nach sich greifen.
Mit Hilfe von einem Federspielzeug ließ er sich spielerisch locken, bis an eine günstige Stelle wo ich ihn in die Wohnung ziehen konnte.
Anfangs war er noch leicht geschockt, aber mittlerweile 1 Stunde später ist er wieder der Alte.

Mir ist ein riesen Stein vom Herzen gefallen, als ich meinen kleinen Panther wieder in der Wohnung hatte.
Ich sag euch - genug Aufregung für die nächsten Jahre.

Natürlich ist das tägliche Kuscheln mittlerweile Standartprogramm.
Baghira gesellt sich gerne zu mir, sobald er sieht dass ich irgendwo sitze/liege.

Shanti wird auch immer zutraulicher, läßt sich auch mittlerweile streicheln.

Nun sind die beiden Stubentiger 6 Tage bei uns, und von der Angst und Unsicherheit ist nichts mehr übrig geblieben.

Vom Spielen können die zwei nicht genug bekommen, sie sind mit viel Eifer bei der Sache.

Shanti ist eher ruhiger im Spiel, Baghira draufgängerisch und wilder.

Am schönsten ist es wenn sie miteinander spielen. Verfolgungsjagden durch die Wohnung, hoch auf den Kratzbaum, runter vom Kratzbaum, wieder um die Ecke, … (beliebig lang fortsetzbar).

Und zwischendurch immer mal wieder eine Ruhepause, und/oder eine Runde Kuscheln mit den Dosenöffnern.

Die beiden Fellnasen leben seit dem 04.09.08 bei uns.
Die ersten Tage waren eine große Umstellung für die zwei.
Sie waren unsicher, ängstlich, haben sich nur versteckt.

Am liebsten haben sie sich anfangs in der Dusche versteckt, daher gaben wir ihnen die Spitznamen “Duschkatzen”.

Die Bildqualität läßt zu wünschen übrig, aber daß ich den beiden nicht in die Augen blitze versteht sich ja von selbst.;)

Mittlerweile haben sich die beiden süßen Fellnasen eingelebt.
Die Wohnung ist soweit erkundet, gefressen wird mit einem guten Appetit.
Der schwarze Kater Baghira entpuppt sich als Schmusekater, Shanti ist noch eher scheu und misstrauisch.

Es ist wie oft im Leben: *It takes the time it takes*.
